Miss Reese

We are so excited to hear from you! Im glad to know you are able to view the blog now and I will keep it updated. Wow so alot has happened since I wrote you last!

Reese can now roll over and rolls and rolls and ROLLS! She can sit up, and with my help she will stand up and she gets the cutest grin on her face because she thinks shes so cool now! which she is but it cracks me up everytime! Shes gaining weight now shes eating baby food! I have been making my own so its not that weird processed bottle kind. She seems to like the majority of things I've tried but banannas and peas she hates unless I can mix them with other things that kinda hide the taste! She know finally sleeps thru the night. I didnt think that day would ever come :)  I tend to have an obsession with buying clothes for her! She gets annoyed with me when it takes 10 minutes to pick out and outfit and put it on. She would much rather not wear any clothes.

We just got back from her first camping trip in the mountains and she loved it! She loves to be outside and watches the birds and we rode my horse. She didnt quite know what to think of that at first but ended up liking it!

She loves her dogs, when they bark she tries to mimic them and makes little noises back at them. She is hilarious and always has us smilling or laughing.  I cant go anywhere without more than 10 people stop and tell me how gorgeous she is!  She is the most beautiful little girl ever! Everyone around her just loves her and cannot get enough of her. She brings so much joy to our lives and I cant wait to get home from work to see her and I love my days off with her we do alot of fun things. She really likes walks so we spend time outside walking or playing in the grass.  She is so happy all the time. She only cries when its time to eat because she loves her food.  Even in the mornings when she wakes up she makes cute little noises and plays in her crib. She is funny.

My rocking chair I painted for her
 My favorite outfit
1st taste of Ice cream she really liked it i was surprised because she dosent like bread or much people food yet
 Shes always happy and smiling
Rolling under the bed. Tricky little girl
She loves bath time I found this duck bath and when you push the beak it quacks a few times she thinks its funny!

I cannot beleive how fast she has grown up! 8 months has flown by. I found this cuteset little play house at Costco the other day and was thinking to myself before ya know it she'll be playing in one of these. Later that week Robert and I went back to Costco because he thought she would need that for next year!!! It cracks me up. He is the best Dad I love seeing how cute he is with her and he really truely loves her so very much. We are so happy and grateful for her in our lives.

I hope you are doing well and glad that we can communicate this way now! I always think about you!

  1. HI!!!
She is just too precious!! I love ya sending me pics of you guys, i keep them all in a photo book and save all the letters :) Reese is such a happy baby. I think i have maybe one or two pics of her crying out of the, what, 100 or so! I'm so glad i made the choice that i had made, you two make suck great parents! A child is only as happy as their surroundings and i dont think she could be in a more perfect place. Is she still having a little acid reflux problems? I'm sure she will out grow that. When D'Anthony was little i always had to put baby cereal in his bottle to thicken it up because he was doing the same. Around 5 or 6 months he out grew it. OH, and he had a hernia around his belly button too, it did go away on its own though which i hope hers does too. She will learn to love the foods you feed her im sure, just give her time to get use to it. I had the same problem with D'Anthony. Seems like deja vu reading everything you write me that she either does or the little health deals that she has been through. It's like reading everything about D'Anthony when he was her age, deja vu, lol. If she has any of me in her, she will always love being outside and animals. I loved the pic of her and the baby goat it was so cute. I bet she loves playing in the grass and dirt when she can! My dad saw the pic of her playing in the dirt and he said he wonders how many times she has taste tested it so far :).
We had a ok Thanksgiving this year. I ended up cooking, my sister normally does that and i just pitch in a dish or two or help with her but she wasnt up for it this year, so me and D got to cook for a first. He is my little helper, he loves helping me in the kitchen. I'll wash the dishes and he rinses them and he likes to put the clothes in the washing machine and dryer. Every now again he like to fold clothes!! Not a perfect job at all but its the effort that counts right! I hope she will be your little helper one day too, really im sure of it. Our Christmas turned out pretty good considering i had to get our church to help out a little on the santa part. They help so much and i was worried it wasnt going to be that great but god blessed us in the end. I bet Reese had a great Christmas since she is right at that age she can tear things open herself and make a mess!! Im hoping to get some new pics soon of the holidays, if you have time. Hope all is well. It's great to see that you and Roberts Dreams and prayers have been answered with a single soul now in your daily lifes. We love ya'll!!!
